Baseball, Birthday, and Piglet

Piglet got to go to her first little league baseball game Saturday. It was her cousin's Noah and Owen's team. Sha has now experienced minor league ball, Major League ball, and Little League Coach's Pitch. They didn't win, but they sure did get a tie. And I got to explain to Coach Jason why that is like kissing your sister. Owen was a magnificent backstop. He stopped every single ball that ran into his legs. Noah hit the ball hard and made a few good plays in the field. I think the main reason they had to settle for the tie was the pitcher was a real rag arm. Our fans started calling for the relief pitcher in around the middle of the first. Thanks alot Coach Jason. We followed up the game with an entertaining afternoon at Par Tee Time, a place kind of like Monkey Joes. Anyways, on with the pics.

Last Week, A Well Check, and a New Sleeping Position

Last week Kaitlin and I were sick. I had some stomach bug and Kaitlin had a cold. Thankfully Mom was here and took care of Kaitlin while I was sick, what a blessing! Kaitlin went in for her well check Friday and she had a sinus infection and the beginning of an earache. The doctor said that she's doing great. She weighed 17lbs 1oz. which puts her in the 90th percentile and she is 24 1/2 inches long in the 75th percentile (up 15% from her last well check). Our little girl is growing so fast. I bought her some 3-6 month pajamas a few weeks ago and she's already outgrown them.
This is Kaitlin's new favorite sleeping position. I'm not a big fan because she has woken up with wet pjs twice and I just worry about her sleeping on her stomach. I know if she can roll over to her belly she can roll back but I still worry, it's what I do.
Here is just a cute picture of Chad and Kaitlin, she loves her Daddy sooo much.

Piglet and Maggie

Kaitlin loves Maggie, she is completely fascinated by her. When Maggie is near Kaitlin always reaches out and tries to touch her, she will talk to her, and squeals with delight if Maggie gives her a kiss. So this morning we took a few pictures of Kaitlin lovin on Maggie.
Notice in all the pictures how I'm trying to hide? I didn't want anyone to see my ratty shirt and the dark circles under my eyes.

Finally Maggie gets to love on Kaitlin and I'm not in the picture.

For Daddy

Today Mom and I left for Oxford to celebrate my Uncle Brian's birthday. Unfortunately we had to leave Daddy behind. I know that he is missing me and would want to give me a present since today I am 4 months old. Mom is going to take me shopping but we will be missing Daddy the whole time. So here are a couple of pictures so Daddy won't miss me too much.
I love you Daddy!
Your little Piglet.

Piglet's First Sox Game

Got to go to our very first Sox game last week. Our niece Caroline came along with us. We had a great time, but there were some ummm difficulties that come along with bringing a baby to a baseball game. This is where our seats were. Piglet was doing great until the Rays were announced. When it got real loud, Piglet got real upset. So we moved here. The problem was we moved during the top of the first, when Papi hit a 3 run homer and Lowell followed up with a solo shot to the section we were originally sitting in. Kaitlin was wore out by about the 6th inning. It was a good game to go to. The Sox won 13-5. There were some happy Sox fans. Pedroia the Destroiah, rounding the bases during batting practice. We spent some time with family in Jacksonville as well. Kaitlin got to visit her Papa and Nana Baxley. Caroline got to ride the golf cart. She's growing up so fast. Piglet went to the beach for the first time. She was fascinated by the waves, the moon, the sounds. She even dipped her feet in the water. All that traveling sure does wear a girl out. Here are a few more random pictures:

Happy bath time!!!

What to do?

Chad left for Savannah this morning and he didn't take me. We thought that it would be best if I stayed behind since he will be coming back tomorrow and it will be raining due to hurricane Hannah. I'm thinking about renting a cute movie and getting some chinese food, I guess that will depend on Kaitlin. Sunday night she slept for 8 hours straight, it was sooo great. The last two nights she hasn't been sleeping so well, she woke up every two hours last night and woke up every 3 hours the night before. I hope that she's teething and it's not an earache or just that she likes to be held. Right now she is catching up on the sleep that she missed form last night so I am going to go work on my scrapbook.

Baptism and Plenty to Say

Piglet got to spend some time with her cousins this weekend. They're going to be such great babysitters, and good influences. Just like their Momma was with Me..... On second thought, when she gets older, Piglet's going to have such a good SUPERVISED time with her cousins.
I got a quick video of Piglet talking to her Daddy this weekend. She's a little camera shy so she always stops showing out right when I start filming. Talk about cute though.
She was also baptised this past weekend. I'm so grateful for the wonderful family that came to enjoy this special day with us. Here are Piglet's relatives who came from out of town:
Uncle Keith, Aunt Joan, Cousin Erin, Papa Jack (Whacky Jacky), Granna (Big Momma), Uncle Biggie, Papa, Aunt Lynn, Cousin Caroline, Cousin Olivia, and Nana Mac.
The Explanation of Infant Baptism
The Sprinkling
Papa Jack's prayer
Daddy doing the 3rd sacrament, The Presbyterian Dance. (Just kidding)

Since we were all dressed up pretty, we decided to take some family pictures.

Unfortunately some people had already taken off before we decided to take pictures.
