Flower Festival

This is the view we have out our window every day.  You can see th leaves changing colors in the mountains behind the city.

 

 Piglet and Rufus had a special visitor come for visit for a few weeks.  We're trying to take her somewhere special every weekend. 

 The first weekend, we went to a flower festival at a park in Daegu.

Halloween 2012

Went to Camp Carroll for some Halloween fun.

 Piglet is a Fairy this year. 

 And Rufus went as Tim Tebow.

 After the party, it was off to Pizza Hut.

Geumo Mountain

Did a little hiking last week up this mountain.

The waterfall wasn't really flowing, so I'll have to come back in the summer.

Stuff about Piglet and Rufus in Daegu

Piglet loves to go bowling.

 Rufus loves being a ham.

 This is the children ready for church sitting in the living room.

 Daddy gave Rufus his first haircut.

 Piglet called him buzz for the next few days.

Good Times in Daegu

We went on a subway tour a few weeks ago.  I can't believe I only took this one picture.  It is an amusement park we plan on going to.

 We have a pizza hut right across the street from our apartment.  The word yum is the same in any language.

 We went to the Daegu museum a few weeks ago too.  It was neat seeing all the history of this area.

 They had a neat childrens area.  I saw this cute little Korean girl.  Doesn't she look familiar.

Being a sweet sister.

Last months typhoon.

Another ballet dance.  Notice her motivation is not doing the steps correctly, it is staying in front of the other little girl.  Once she falls behind, things start to go south.

Piglet, the Ballerina

We signed Piglet up for ballet classes at Camp Walker.  The night before her first class, we realized her ballet outfit was in our household goods which hadn't arrived yet.  So we found a ballet store on the internet, took the subway to the store, and found a new outfit.

Going out for BBQ, Korean Style

Suesong Lake

Saturday, we went to Suesong Lake for a picnic and some fun at a small amusement park.

 We spent a good 3 minutes on a duck boat, until Piglet had to go to the bathroom.
