Virginia

We went to Virginia for a short vacation. Ever since we got married, Chrissy has wanted to go somewhere that had fall foliage. There was lots of it in the Shenandoah Valley along Skyline Drive.

We walked about 8 miles of trails.
It was really foggy in the mornings, but always cleared up by evening.

We spent a little time on the Appalachian Trail, or the A T as us experienced hikers call it.

It was cold for Chrissy

The hiking was tough too, but worth it for the views.

After a few days in the mountains, we went to see some historic sites.
Like Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's house.

And the Jamestown Settlement

Can't believe you came to Charlottesville and didn't tell me. I would have loved to have seen you! Love seeing pictures of Kaitlin.
