Savannah, February 2012

As a Christmas present, we went to Savannah for a three day, two night vacation; no kids.  We stayed at the 17hundred90 Inn.

After we got the reservation, I found out its supposed to be one of the most haunted places in Georgia.  We found the ghost on the third floor.
The main thing we did was walk around the city and eat at the fine Savannah restaurants.  Above is the house where Sherman stayed on his march to Savannah.
This Mansion was the setting for the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and also where the movie was filmed.
And of course we went to the Pirate House.  It was where Robert Louis Stevenson got some of his setting for Treasure Island.
